Ann Coulter is, perhaps, the most controversial author of our time. She is also extremely intelligent and, most important, she’s usually right.

I just finished Godless and I have to say that the liberal press and the left in this country did a masterful job of ignoring what Coulter had to say, instead focusing on a couple of paragraphs that had little to do with the larger points.

Coulter tackles abortion, public schools, and evolution along with every subject sacrosanct to liberals. Conservatives will enjoy reading it and liberals will be kept awake at night. Very enjoyable reading.

Thomas Sowell is one of the most brilliant men in America.  He has the ability to take difficult subjects and make them, not only understandable, but interesting as well.� Most Americans are woefully ignorant of basic economic principles.  That explains why politicians continue to get away with economic schemes that inevitably lead to greater problems than they were intended to solve.

With Basic Economics and Applied Economics Sowell makes the arcane understandable and interesting.  Even my wife has enjoyed reading Basic Economics!
