Missing In Action

Microsoft’s infamous Patch Tuesday was this week and the updates that automatically downloaded and installed on my computer caused it to be unbootable, even in safe mode. So, since Wednesday, I’ve been busy using the wonderful Ultimate Boot CD for Windows to get my data off the hard drive and then reload my machine. Wonderful fun.

One side effect was a wonderful post I had mostly finished about what’s likely to be down the line for Democrats and Republicans in Congress was lost. The process of saving as much as possible of my data and reloading my machine has left me somewhat behind in terms of following news and writing about it. I’m back up and running now, although I still have some software to reinstall. It’s amazing how much yo don’t even realize you had until you go to use a tool and find it isn’t on your computer. I hope to have another post later today but it could be tomorrow. Thanks for your patience and please check back again.
